Robin Johnson, Florida Girl Design Inc., maintains formal training in modern AI tools. She holds a certification from the University of North Florida in AI for Work and Life and is currently completing UNF’s AI for Creators certification program. Her approach prioritizes ethical, responsible AI usage paired with 20+ years of human-authored design expertise—ensuring that every project blends innovation, accuracy, and artistic integrity.
​As a designer, Robin chooses to work with AI because it allows her to better serve her clients by staying informed, innovative, and ahead of industry changes. By combining her artistic experience with professional design software and advanced AI tools, she is able to explore creative ideas more efficiently, refine concepts with greater precision, and deliver high-quality, customized book cover designs. Robin does not use AI to replace creativity — she uses it to expand it.

With the evolution of AI in design, Robin continues to grow as an artist — exploring new styles, techniques, and visual storytelling methods. She has renewed her study of fine artists, color theory, and art history, and she combines this knowledge with her background in traditional art and design. Using this foundation, she creates custom artwork through professional AI and design platforms including Midjourney and Ideogram.

In addition to inspiring fresh book cover concepts, AI generative art allows Robin to offer an even wider range of visual possibilities — including illustration, painterly styles, cartoons, surreal scenes, abstract backgrounds, historical aesthetics, fantasy, science fiction, and more. If a hand-painted or artistic look is desired, AI can be an excellent tool to begin that creative direction. Styles such as object collage, ornate frames, symbolic elements, surrealism, and item-based compositions are all strong candidates for AI-enhanced design.
